Qualifikationen

• Juris Doctor or Master of Laws required.
• Min 4 years practicing IP law in-house or with a major law firm.
• Bar admission in good standing or eligible for admission.
• B.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similar technology.
• Registered to practice before USPTO.
• US work eligibility required; no visa sponsorship.

Aufgaben

• Provide strategic IP counsel on patents, trade secrets, licensing, technology development and IP-related transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate IP-related agreements (e.g., development, confidentiality, license, joint development).
• Identify IP risks and opportunities in business and technology meetings; develop solutions to enable innovation and growth.
• Develop and implement IP strategies aligned with business objectives; maximize value of IP assets.
• Build and manage patent portfolios; draft and prosecute patent applications; manage outside counsel.
