Job summary

Platform Science, Inc. in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to partner with Sales, build trusted relationships, and deliver software solutions for enterprise accounts.

You will lead demonstrations, answer technical questions, manage pilots, and support implementations to close complex deals. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in solutions or sales engineering, deep technical background, and proven ability to travel 50%+.

Qualifications

• 8+ years related experience.
• Proven work experience as a Solutions or Sales Engineer.
• Ability to forge strong relationships with senior executives.
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent presentation and creativity skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales executives to sell solutions into prospect accounts.
• Understand all aspects of Platform Science's product and business.
• Create and deliver presentations and demos communicating value proposition.
• Address technical product questions from prospects and clients.
• Lead and manage prospect pilots.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Sales and Support to ensure excellent customer experience.
• Gather current and potential customer specifications to tailor configurations.
• Match customer business needs to proposed solutions.
• Communicate client needs to R&D for future enhancements.
• Manage all technical aspects of RFP/RFI responses.
• Collect and document competitive intelligence.
