Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corp is hiring a Sr Program Planning and Scheduling Manager to lead the development and optimization of integrated master plans for one of our most strategic programs. This role involves coordinating across functions, managing schedule risk, and delivering actionable insights to executives.

The ideal candidate has 11+ years in program planning and scheduling, with at least 4 years in leadership, and deep experience with IMS/IMP, EVM, and handling complex schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• 11+ years of experience in program planning and scheduling, 4+ years in a leadership role
• In the absence of a degree, at least 15 years of related experience may substitute for education
• Proven leadership abilities, including change management and mentoring
• Advanced scheduling tools proficiency and EVM knowledge

Responsibilities

• Oversee integrated master plans and schedules for complex programs
• Ensure horizontal and vertical integration across the enterprise
• Lead risk analysis and schedule risk mitigation activities
• Resolve critical path conflicts using CPM/PERT techniques
• Present schedule status to senior leadership and stakeholders
• Mentor junior analysts in advanced scheduling practices
• Participate in strategic planning to align schedules with program goals
