Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking a Principal Program Planning & Scheduling Analyst to lead the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for highly complex projects. You will perform in-depth Critical Path and variance analysis and prepare executive-level reports to leadership to ensure schedule commitments are met.

You will lead schedule risk assessments, incorporate contractual changes to baselines, and mentor team members while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable schedule

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience) or Master's +10 yrs experience.
• Typically 12+ years of related experience.
• Experience leading teams formally and informally.
• Experience delivering executive-level presentations and briefings.
• Experience with Schedule Management, data analytics, finance or similar roles.
• Ability to conduct Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA).
• Proficiency in scheduling software and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Master/Subproject Integrated Master Schedules.
• Experience with Earned Value Programs.
• Knowledge of DCMA Scheduling best practices and compliance.
• Advanced Excel features (Pivot Tables, Vlookups).
• DoD/government contracting familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead establishment and maintenance of the IMS for complex projects.
• Perform critical path and variance analysis and prepare executive briefs.
• Lead Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA) and apply contractual changes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure realistic, compliant baselines.
• Mentor and develop team members and foster growth.
• Prepare and present executive schedule reports to senior management.
