Job summary

WAHVE is seeking an Operations Business Analyst to support insurance carrier or MGA clients from a home-based position. The role focuses on translating requirements, managing multi-state, multi-line accounts, and ensuring data submissions to rating bureaus and departments of insurance.

We require 25 years of full-time work experience and at least 10 recent years in the insurance industry. Flexible full- or part-time schedules are available with company benefits.

Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time work experience required.
• 10 recent years of insurance industry experience required.
• Experience as an Operations Business Analyst or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with underwriting, accounting, compliance, audit, IT, and other operations.
• Translate customer requirements into clear functional specifications for technicians.
• Manage multi-state, multi-line policy life cycles including rating, pricing, and issuing policies.
• Develop and monitor operational KPIs and service standards.
• Process transactions and follow workflows based on line of business, state rules, and regulations.
• Prepare data submissions to rating bureaus and state departments of insurance as SME.
