Job summary

WAHVE is seeking an Operations Business Analyst to work from home in a long-term remote role. You will liaise across underwriting, accounting, compliance, and IT to translate requirements into actionable functional specs and manage policy life cycles across multiple states and lines of business.

Qualifications

• Liaise with underwriting, accounting, compliance, audit, information technology and other areas.
• Translate customer requirements into clear functional specifications for technicians.
• Manage multi-state, multi-line policy life cycle including rating, quoting and issuing.
• Develop operational KPI's and service standards.
• Process transactions and follow diverse workflows across lines of business and rules.
• Serve as SME for data submissions to rating bureaus and state departments of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with various operational areas such as underwriting, accounting, compliance, audit, information technology, etc.
• Translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to technicians.
• Become proficient in managing multi-state, multi-line accounts throughout the policy life cycle which could include rating/pricing, quoting, and issuing policies as well as handling related account activity.
• Participate and understand the development of operational KPI’s and service standards.
• Process transactions and follow varied workflows dependent upon line of business, company, state, specific rules, and regulations.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding how to prepare data submissions to rating bureaus and state departments of insurance.
