Job summary

WAHVE is seeking an experienced Operations Business Analyst to support insurance carrier and MGA clients from a remote, long-term engagement. You will liaise with underwriting, accounting, compliance, audit and IT to translate requirements into actionable specs and manage multi-state policy lifecycles.

The role focuses on KPI development, service standards, data submissions to rating bureaus and state departments of insurance, and adherence to complex workflows.

Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time work experience in insurance
• 10 recent years of insurance industry experience
• Ability to work remotely on long-term engagements
• Experience with multi-state, multi-line policy processes

Responsibilities

• Liaise with underwriting, accounting, compliance, audit, IT and other operational areas
• Translate customer requirements into functional specifications for technicians
• Manage multi-state, multi-line accounts through the policy lifecycle (rating, pricing, quoting, issuing)
• Develop and monitor operational KPIs and service standards
• Process transactions following varied workflows by line of business, state and rules
• Prepare data submissions to rating bureaus and state departments of insurance
