Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to contribute to state‑of‑the‑art industrial and commercial facilities across the United States. You will design and optimize control systems, develop P&IDs, size valves, and document designs while ensuring codes and standards compliance.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers and designers in a multi-disciplinary team, mentoring juniors and leading project activities, with support for growth and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical field.
• At least 6 years of Instrumentation and Control experience.
• Experience with mission-critical control systems (BMS, SCADA, DCS).

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize control systems for industrial facilities.
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, and specify instrumentation.
• Document and model design information meeting codes and standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and designers on projects.
