Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to lead design and optimization of control systems for state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities across the United States. You will develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation and work with a multidisciplinary team to meet client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.

You will mentor junior professionals, coordinate startup support, and contribute to building codes and industry standards compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or other related engineering or technical field.
• At least 6 years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control.
• Demonstrated experience in mission critical control systems, including BMS, SCADA, and DCS.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize control systems for processes in facilities.
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document design information.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and designers to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
