Job summary

Jacobs is looking for a Sr Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team on projects for state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities across the United States. You will design and optimize control systems, develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.

You’ll gain experience across mission-critical projects, coordinate with architects, engineers, and designers, and mentor junior

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related engineering field.
• At least 6 years of experience with Instrumentation and Control.
• Experience with mission critical control systems such as BMS, SCADA, and DCS.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize control systems for processes.
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation.
• Document and model design information ensuring codes/standards.
• Provide on-site startup support and coordinate activities within the team.
