Job summary

Jacobs is hiring a Sr Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to work on state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities across the United States. You will design and optimize control systems, develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and model design information while coordinating with architects, engineers and designers.

You will provide on-site startup support, manage schedules and quality, and thrive in a multi-disciplinary team with mentorship opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related engineering field.
• At least 6 years of experience with Instrumentation and Control.
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).

Responsibilities

• Develop P&IDs and size valves for control systems.
• Specify instrumentation and document design information.
• Provide on-site startup support and coordinate with project team.
• Design and optimize control systems for processes within a multi-disciplinary team.
