Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to design and optimize control systems for state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities across the United States. You will develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document design information while coordinating with architects, engineers, and designers.

You will lead and mentor within a multi-disciplinary team, ensure compliance with codes, and support startup on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or other related engineering or technical field.
• 6+ years of experience in Instrumentation and Control.
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).

Responsibilities

• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document design information.
• Model and review control system configurations while ensuring building codes and standards.
• Provide on-site support during startup and coordinate work with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Lead project activities as discipline lead and mentor junior engineers.
• Deliver complete, world-class control system solutions for facilities.
