Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Sr Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to work on state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities within the United States. You will design and optimize control systems, develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document design information while ensuring code compliance.

You will join a multidisciplinary team, participate in startup activities on site, and mentor junior staff while delivering multi-project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related engineering field.
• At least 6 years of experience with Instrumentation and Control.
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize control systems for processes in industrial and commercial facilities.
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document design information.
• Provide on-site assistance during startup and coordinate work with staff and discipline lead.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complete control systems and drive continuous improvement.
