Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to contribute to state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities in the U.S. You will design and optimize control systems, develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document design information while ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or other related engineering or technical field.
• At least 6 Years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control
• Demonstrated experience in mission critical control systems, including Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA systems, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS)

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes.
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document design information.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and designers to deliver complete solutions for new facilities.
• Provide on-site assistance during startup and ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.
• Mentor and collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to drive project success.
