Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to design and deliver state-of-the-art control systems for industrial and commercial facilities across the US. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

You will gain mentorship, manage multiple projects, and support startup activities, with a hybrid work policy that blends Jacobs offices and remote locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related engineering field.
• At least 6 years of experience in instrumentation and control.
• Experience with BMS, SCADA, and DCS systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize control systems for processes and facilities.
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation.
• Document and model design information, ensure codes and standards compliance.
• Provide on-site startup support and coordinate with multidisciplinary staff.
