Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to design and coordinate control systems for state-of-the-art facilities across the United States. You will develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document design information while ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

You will gain on-site startup support, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, and mentor junior staff as needed, with a hybrid work policy that balances Jacobs offices and remote locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related engineering or technical field.
• At least 6 years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control.
• Experience with mission critical control systems, including BMS, SCADA, and DCS.

Responsibilities

• Develop P&IDs and size valves.
• Specify instrumentation and document design information.
• Model design information and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Provide on-site startup support and coordinate work with staff and discipline lead.
