Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to design and optimize control systems for a range of industrial and commercial facilities across the United States. You will develop P&IDs, size valves, and document design details while ensuring safety and code compliance.

The role requires a minimum of 6 years in instrumentation and control, with experience in BMS, SCADA, and DCS, and offers hybrid work with opportunities to mentor junior staff and lead project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related engineering.
• At least 6 years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control.
• Demonstrated experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA, and DCS.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize control systems for processes in industrial and commercial facilities.
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document design information.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and designers to meet codes and standards.
• Provide on-site support during startup and assist discipline lead.
