Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to lead control systems design for state-of-the-art facilities across the United States. You’ll develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document sequences of operations while coordinating with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver world-class solutions.

The role offers hybrid working policy, on-site support during startup, and opportunities to mentor junior professionals within a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or other related engineering or technical field.
• At least 6 years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control.
• Demonstrated experience with mission-critical control systems including BMS, SCADA, and DCS.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize control systems for processes.
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document design information.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and mentors.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or other related engineering or technical field

Professional Engineering License (PE) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Control Systems Engineering
