Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to lead design and optimization of control systems across a range of facilities. You will develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document operation sequences while ensuring code compliance.

On-site startup support and coordination with a multi-disciplinary team are expected. The role offers a path to leadership, with mentoring, project management exposure, and a hybrid work model within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or other related engineering field.
• At least 6 years of experience in Instrumentation and Control.
• Experience with mission critical control systems including BMS, SCADA, and DCS.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize control systems for processes with engineers and designers.
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document design information.
• Provide on-site support during startup and coordinate work with discipline lead.
