Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to design and optimize control systems for industrial and commercial facilities across the United States. You will develop P&IDs, size valves, select instrumentation, and document design information while ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

You will work within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, coordinate activities, and provide on-site support during startup, mentorship to junior staff, and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field.
• 6+ years with Instrumentation and Control.
• Experience with BMS, SCADA, and DCS systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize control systems for industrial facilities.
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to meet codes and standards.
• Support startup and on-site commissioning as needed.
