Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Sr Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to design and optimize control systems for complex facilities. You will develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document design information while ensuring compliance with codes.

You’ll lead on-site startup coordination, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver world-class solutions for mission-critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or other related engineering or technical field.
• At least 6 years of experience with Instrumentation and Control.
• Experience with mission-critical control systems including BMS, SCADA, and DCS.

Responsibilities

• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document design information.
• Coordinate on-site startup and assist during startup activities.
• Design and optimize control systems across processes in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Mentor juniors and lead project teams.
