Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to work on state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities in a hybrid US environment. You will design and optimize control systems, develop P&IDs, size valves, and specify instrumentation while coordinating with architects, engineers, and designers.

You will lead projects, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards, with opportunities for on-site startup support across multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related engineering or technical field.
• At least 6 years of instrumentation and control experience.
• Experience with mission critical control systems including BMS, SCADA, and DCS.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize control systems for processes and facilities.
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, and specify instrumentation.
• Document and model design information while ensuring codes and standards.
• Provide on-site startup support and coordinate work with staff and discipline lead.
• Lead project teams and mentor junior professionals across multi-disciplinary projects.
