Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to support projects across the United States, including state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities.

You will design and optimize control systems, develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document operations while ensuring code compliance. Engage in on-site startup support and lead discipline teams to deliver world-class solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related engineering or technical field.
• At least 6 years of experience working with instrumentation and control.
• Demonstrated experience in mission critical control systems, including Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA and DCS.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes across facilities.
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document modeling information.
• Provide on-site startup support and coordinate work with multi-disciplinary teams; act as discipline lead.
• Mentor junior staff and lead project teams in a collaborative environment.
