Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a seasoned instructional designer to design, develop, and maintain eLearning, ILT, blended, or performance support. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to create objectives, content, testing, and evaluation plans aligned with Ryder's goals and competencies.

The role requires knowledge of adult learning, Storyline or similar tools, and strong presentation and client-facing skills. Travel None; full-time at Ryder's Indianapolis area location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, education, instructional design technology or related area or 8+ years of equivalent experience.
• Master's degree preferred in related field.
• 5+ years in education or business environment.
• 3+ years designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions; experience with Articulate 360 Suite.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Experience with Storyline and other authoring tools; ability to work with clients and subject matter experts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and maintenance of dynamic training solutions.
• Consult with subject matter experts to develop objectives and strategies.
• Create learning content and testing to support major initiatives.
• Collaborate to implement best practices in instructional technologies and processes.
• Stay current on emerging trends in learning methods.
