Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks an experienced instructional designer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic eLearning, instructor-led, blended or performance support training solutions that enhance Ryder’s employees’ capabilities.

You will consult with subject matter experts, develop objectives and strategies, and deliver customized learning solutions that align with Ryder’s goals and competencies, using best practices in adult learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, education, instructional design technology, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred in related field.
• 5+ years education or business environment experience.
• 3+ years designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions; experience with Articulate 360.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops learning content and testing to support major training initiatives.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts to develop objectives and learning strategies.
• Develops learning project proposals.
• Ensures instructional design solutions align with objectives and outcomes.
• Keeps up with trends in learning methods and adult learning best practices.
• Collaborates with team members on projects; performs other duties as assigned.
