Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic eLearning, instructor-led, blended, or performance support training solutions for Ryder employees.

You will create content and testing aligned to organizational goals, consult with SMEs to develop sound objectives, and design proposals for learning projects. Stay current with trends and ensure training practices reflect adult learning principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field or equivalent 8+ years in e-learning design.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Five or more years in education or business environment.
• Three or more years designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions; experience with Articulate 360.
• Proficiency with Storyline and advanced instructional design methodologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Creates learning content and testing to support major training and assessment initiatives, aligned to Ryder’s goals and competencies.
• Consults with SMEs and business owners to develop objectives, content, and learning strategies; coordinates scope and timelines.
• Designs and develops learning project proposals.
• Ensures instructional design solutions match objectives; communicates innovative ideas to gain consensus.
• Stays current with emerging trends in learning methods and best practices.
