Lumen is seeking an Account Manager II, Desk Based, to drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth across an assigned territory. Using consultative, outcome-driven sales techniques, you will identify customer needs, develop opportunities, and recommend solutions that deliver meaningful business value.

This is a work-from-home position with a schedule of 8am-5pm in your time zone. You will manage the full sales cycle, maintain Salesforce records, and mentor teammates as a senior contributor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of sales experience in technology, telecom, business services, or related industry.
• Experience developing new business opportunities and managing customer relationships in a consultative sales environment.
• Proven success in a desk-based, inside or outside sales role.
• Strong prospecting, relationship-building, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Ability to conduct effective virtual sales calls and customer presentations.
• Experience using Salesforce or comparable CRM to manage opportunities and forecasts.
• Excellent planning, organization, and communication across priorities.

Responsabilités

• Desk-based prospecting, selling and account management into assigned customers, meeting monthly quotas.
• Deliver a strong value proposition during consultative and transactional selling approaches.
• Prospect and qualify through calls, emails, social media, and campaigns.
• Provide timely quotes and follow-ups.
• Prepare agendas for customer calls and identify opportunities.
• Engage internal resources to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Leverage sales ecosystem to drive high-impact opportunities.
• Move through the sales cycle with urgency to close.
• Maintain updated Salesforce notes and account plans.
• Provide activity reports and forecast monthly sales volume.
• Attend training and meetings; mentor teammates as a senior team member.
