Advocate Health is seeking an experienced inpatient coder to support the 10407 Enterprise Revenue Cycle - Coding Production Operations. The role covers inpatient coding across diverse service lines, requiring expertise in ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT/CPCS, with coding accuracy and compliance as priorities.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT and HCPCS coding guidelines.
• Experience with revenue cycle processes and clinical documentation improvement.
• Certification required from AAPC or AHIMA.

Responsabilités

• Review complex inpatient documentation to assign diagnosis and procedure codes accurately.
• Adhere to coding guidelines and compliance requirements for reimbursements.
• Code high-dollar and long-stay cases with accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with CDI and Quality teams to align DRGs and Medicare cases.
