Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC in the United States is seeking a Process Engineer to manage injection stretch blow mold sampling, qualification services, and validation for new and rebuilt molds. You will work with plant technicians and quality engineers to optimize processes, generate Master Process Sheets, and support startups and tooling changes.

A bachelor\'s degree in engineering and 5 years of plastics experience are expected; competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence internal and external customers.
• Minimum of 5 years' processing experience in the plastics packaging industry.
• Experience with SPC is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead mold samplings and qualification services for new/rebuilt tools.
• Optimize molding processes to meet design specs and cycle times.
• Create and maintain Master Process Sheets for injection/blow molding.
• Train plant personnel in technical areas and tool design changes.
• Provide manufacturing support to solve production issues.
