Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process Engineer to lead injection stretch blow molding sampling, qualification, and validation for new and rebuilt molds. You will collaborate with plant technical roles to support startups and ensure compliant processes.

You will develop Master Process Sheets, conduct DOE studies, and mentor technicians while improving tooling, process control, and product quality across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence and negotiate with internal and external customers.
• Experience with SPC is beneficial.
• Willingness to travel 50% to 75% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead mold samplings and qualification services on new, replacement or rebuilt tools.
• Optimize the molding process to meet dimensional limits and cycle time targets.
• Create and maintain standardized Master Process Sheets for defined injection or blow molding processes.
• Provide technical support to plants to solve production issues related to machine, process, tooling/design.
• Perform and establish DOE and process capability studies to ensure compliance to standards.
