Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a Process Engineer to lead mold sampling, qualification services, and validation for new and rebuilt tools across molding operations. You will optimize processes, support startups, and collaborate with plant technicians and quality engineers to meet dimensional and visual specs.

The role requires a mechanical or electrical engineering degree and about 5 years' plastics processing experience, with 50–75% travel to support multiple plants and projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum five years' processing experience in plastics packaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of mold samplings and qualification on new, replacement or rebuilt tools.
• Optimize molding process to meet dimensional limits within designed cycle times.
• Create and maintain Master Process Sheets for defined processes.
• Lead design reviews and tool specification meetings as required.
• Train plant personnel in technical areas, including tooling design changes.
