Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process Engineer to lead injection stretch blow mold sampling, qualification, and process optimization for new and rebuilt tooling. You will liaison with plant technical roles to support startups, validation, and corrective actions while driving best practices across manufacturing operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, 5+ years in plastics packaging, and strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Minimum of five years in plastics processing/packaging is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Mold samplings & qualification services on new/rebuilt tools.
• Optimize molding process to meet dimensional and cycle-time targets.
• Create and maintain Master Process Sheets for injection/blow molding.
• Lead DOE studies to ensure process capability and standards.
• Train plant personnel on process control and tooling changes.
• Support plant operations with data-driven troubleshooting and improvements.
