Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Manager to drive data-driven CI across multiple operations, leading engineering, analytics and lean initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.

You will supervise a team, develop KPI plans, coach and mentor staff, and work with senior leadership to deploy value stream mapping, Kaizen events and start-ups. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain required.
• Nine years or more in the Distribution, Warehousing and/or Manufacturing, Transportation, Supply Chain Logistics industry.
• Experience with Power BI, Snowflake, slotting software, CAD tools and WMS systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of CI and quality professionals and manage performance.
• Develop and execute strategy, scorecards, and KPI action plans with operational leadership.
• Provide training, coaching and mentoring to deploy Lean and data-driven improvements.
• Lead Value Stream Maps, Kaizen events and sustainment across accounts.
