Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Austin, Texas is seeking a Senior Manager of Continuous Improvement to lead CI resources across multiple operations, drive data-driven improvements, and partner with engineering and analytics to elevate safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth.

You will supervise a team of CI engineering and quality professionals, develop strategy and KPIs, coach staff on Lean methods, support start-ups and expansions, and travel up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading CI programs across multiple sites.
• Strong data analytics, Lean, and Kaizen facilitation skills.
• Proven track record in labelling, slotting, and labor planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; 9+ years in related industry.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CI engineering and quality teams; hire, coach, and develop staff.
• Lead strategy development, KPI action plans, and site assessments.
• Coach teams in Engineering, Data Analysis and Lean methods.
• Drive start-ups, retrofits, and expansions with go-live support.
• Lead Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen events; track progress and sustainment.
