Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Manager to lead CI resources across multiple operations and influence change through data-driven engineering and automation efforts.

The role interfaces with employees at all levels and travels up to 50% to deliver improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth. The successful candidate will leverage Power BI, SQL, and Lean tools to drive results.

Qualifications

• Startup experience (pre and/or post start-up) required.
• Experience with AutoCAD, WMS (Manhattan SCALE), Power BI, Snowflake, slotting software (WareBee or Slot3D).
• Experience in Labor Planning and Labor Modeling.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of continuous improvement professionals and manage performance.
• Lead strategy development, scorecards, KPIs and action plans with operational leadership.
• Provide training and coaching on Lean methods, data analysis and engineering tools.
• Develop and apply advanced data analytics and lean methodologies to improve distribution and transportation operations.
