Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to apply CI methods across an operation in Ohio.

You will collect data, analyze performance, map processes, and lead cross-functional teams to implement improvements that raise safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. The role requires strong data analytics, experience with Lean tools, and the ability to coach teams in CI and quality practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain with 5+ years in warehousing/transportation/manufacturing.
• 5+ years in related warehousing/ transportation or manufacturing.
• Proficient in PowerBI/Tableau; SQL/DAX; strong Excel/Visio skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect data and perform statistical analysis.
• Map and document processes; identify gaps and implement improvements.
• Lead CI projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Develop and manage continuous improvement plans; drive Kaizen events.
