Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Lead Engineer to drive Continuous Improvement across operations. You will leverage data analytics, lean tools, and engineering methods to identify root causes and deliver performance gains in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You may supervise CI engineers and coordinate with General Manager or Operations Director.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, change leadership, and delivering tangible value through Kaizen events and Value Stream mapping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering/Business/Supply Chain with 7+ years in warehousing, transportation, or manufacturing.
• Master’s in Industrial Engineering or MBA with 5+ years related experience (MBA requires undergrad in engineering).
• Microsoft Office proficiency with Excel/Access/PowerPoint; Visio preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI projects across the operation to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth.
• Interface with account management and customers; support start-ups, retrofits and expansions.
