Job summary

ADP is seeking an Implementation Team Manager in Norfolk, VA to lead daily team activities, ensure on-time delivery, and partner with the Team Director to set direction and foster a productive work environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least five years of client services and/or implementation experience.
• At least three years of people leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities of the team to meet deadlines with quality and priorities.
• Oversee implementation of strategic goals and standard workflows.
• Act as consultant to other groups within ADP.
• Train and mentor team members and coordinate training with the Director.
• Track productivity and performance, addressing critical periods.
• Act as backup to the Director, providing leadership in their absence.
• Manage escalated issues and provide direction.
• Collaborate with peers to establish best practices.
• Analyze team metrics and prepare Director reports.
• Evaluate associates and complete performance appraisals.
• Develop Individual Development Plans with staff.
• Administer corrective action and performance plans.
• Hire/Fire authority in conjunction with HR.
• Possibly manage budget and Workforce Management oversight.
• Participate in strategic initiatives and cross-unit collaboration.
