Job summary

JD Power is seeking an Implementation Specialist II to lead complex software implementations for new and existing customers, overseeing onboarding, configuration, training, adoption, and customer readiness while juggling multiple projects.

You will act as the primary implementation consultant, mentor junior staff, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure a superior customer experience across remote engagements in the USA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of software implementation, onboarding, project management, training, or related experience.
• Experience managing multiple customer-facing projects simultaneously.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Up to 90% travel for onsite implementations, customer meetings, or company events, as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium to large-scale implementation projects from kickoff through go-live and customer handoff.
• Manage multiple concurrent implementation projects while maintaining quality and timeline commitments.
• Serve as the primary customer advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Configure software solutions based on customer requirements and business objectives.
• Independently deliver virtual and onsite training programs.
• Identify implementation risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Partner with Support, Product, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor project scope, milestones, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships that drive adoption and satisfaction.
• Mentor and support Implementation Specialist I team members.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on assigned products and implementation processes.
• Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and team development initiatives.
