ServiceNow seeks a Senior Staff IAM Software Engineer to bring full stack and systems depth to the Identity Platform Engineering team, build our DevOps foundation, own critical platform integrations, and elevate engineers around them.

You will mentor 4-5 engineers, collaborate with security, compliance, and product teams to deliver secure, auditable solutions, and contribute to AI-assisted identity governance across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Strong IAM Domain Experience with Identity Lifecycle, RBAC/ABAC, Access Certifications, and Privileged Access Management.
• Systems engineering experience designing and operating complex distributed platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead large-scale technical initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all technical aspects of team deliverables including quality, performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Lead the development of end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitLab Runners, Jenkins, and Nexus.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code and configuration management with Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet.
• Own system integrations across Identity Platforms and ServiceNow — APIs, connectors, provisioning workflows, and lifecycle automation.
• Contribute full stack development across backend services and user-facing IAM workflows; provide input on UI design.
• Apply data analytics to identity governance: RBAC role mining, access pattern analysis, entitlement optimization, and AI-assisted recommendations.
• Mentor 4-5 junior to mid-level engineers, fostering technical excellence.
• Partner with security, compliance, and platform teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Design scalable, maintainable components with performance and reliability focus.
