Job summary

ServiceNow's Security Organization seeks a Senior Staff IAM Software Engineer to bolster identity platforms across global environments. You will own DevOps foundations, drive critical IT security integrations, and contribute to scalable IAM workflows.

The role emphasizes performance, reliability, and mentoring engineers while partnering with security and platform teams to deliver audit-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience; 3+ years as a senior staff, or equivalent.
• Strong IAM Domain Experience with Identity Lifecycle, RBAC/ABAC, and Privileged Access.
• Full stack depth: backend (Java/Python) and frontend (JS, REST, HTML/CSS).
• Hands-on in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps with GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus or similar.
• Infrastructure automation with Terraform, Ansible, and/or Puppet.
• Experience integrating AI into work processes and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all technical aspects of team deliverables focusing on quality and scale.
• Lead end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, automating development and tests.
• Own integrations across Identity Platforms and ServiceNow APIs and workflows.
• Contribute full stack development for IAM workflows and UI input.
• Apply data analytics to identity governance and access patterns.
• Mentor 4–5 junior to mid engineers and drive best practices.
