Relativity in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Senior IAM Engineer to lead enterprise identity strategy and architecture, anchoring IAM as the primary control plane in a defense-in-depth program. You will own the architecture, strategy, and operational maturity across workforce, machine, and non-human identities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in enterprise IAM or security engineering; or 6+ years with a Master's.
• Expert experience architecting IAM across IdP/SSO (Okta, Entra ID/Azure AD, Ping).
• Advanced knowledge of authentication and federation protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SCIM, LDAP, Kerberos).
• Experience leading identity threat detection and access investigations.
• Knowledge of MITRE, NIST 800-63, Zero Trust; translate into technical controls.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for containerized services.
• Ability to mentor engineers and communicate strategy to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design identity architecture spanning workforce, machine, and workload identities.
• Advance continuous adaptive trust & Zero Trust maturity (CAE, phishing-resistant auth).
• Engineer and optimize ZTNA, MFA/FIDO2, JIT access.
• Design and optimize SSO, federation, and authentication standards (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM, Kerberos, LDAP).
• Define CIS Benchmarks/DISA STIGs with automated validation.
• Design identity lifecycle automation integrating HR and directories.
• Lead IGA capabilities: access reviews and segregation-of-duties enforcement.
• Lead PAM implementation: vaulting, JIT elevation, session monitoring.
• Govern non-human identities with policy-as-code and drift detection.
• Integrate identity telemetry into SIEM/SOAR for detections.
• Develop identity IR playbooks for breaches.
• Support audits and compliance through identity controls.
• Mentor identity engineers.
