Job summary

Relativity seeks a Senior IAM Engineer to set the enterprise IAM direction and anchor identity as the primary control plane. You will own architecture, strategy and maturity across workforce, machine and workflow identities, partnering with security leadership.

You will mentor engineers, shape standards, and drive improvements in threat detection, PAM, SSO, and CI/CD identity controls in a cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Info Security.
• 8+ years in enterprise IAM or security engineering (6+ with Master).
• Expert hands-on experience architecting and operating IdP/SSO, IGA, and PAM.
• Led identity threat detection and detection-engineering efforts.
• Familiar with MITRE, NIST 800-63, Zero Trust frameworks.
• Proficient in scripting languages (Python/Bash/PowerShell).
• Able to mentor engineers and communicate strategy clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design identity architecture spanning workforce, machine, and workload identity.
• Advance continuous adaptive trust capabilities and Zero Trust maturation.
• Engineer and optimize ZTNA, MFA/FIDO2, and JIT access across paths.
• Design and optimize SSO, federation, and authentication standards (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM).
• Define hardening standards using CIS Benchmarks/DISA STIGs with automated validation.
• Automate identity lifecycle (joiner/mover/leaver) with HR systems and directories.
• Lead IAM governance, access reviews, and segregation-of-duties enforcement.
• Implement and optimize PAM with credential vaulting and JIT elevation.
• Govern non-human identities with policy-as-code enforcement.
• Integrate identity telemetry into SIEM/SOAR and UEBA.
• Develop IR playbooks for identity incidents and credential abuse.
• Apply threat intelligence to identity remediation and purple-teamings.
• Embed identity controls in AI-devops pipelines and CI/CD.
• Define identity KPIs and align with GRC across SOX, SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA.
• Provide mentorship to Advanced and Engineer-level identity staff.
