Job summary

McMillen, Inc. seeks a Senior Applied Hydraulics Engineer to lead hydraulic design for large water resources projects, including dams, energy, fisheries, and infrastructure. The role requires a PE license, extensive experience, and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.

The successful candidate will drive project strategy, engage stakeholders, and oversee deliverables from feasibility to commissioning, with a focus on technical excellence and practical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering required.
• Master's degree in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Lead discussions, meetings, and workshops for project teams and clients.
• Ensure work elements meet quality standards and project requirements.
• Identify and pursue opportunities with new and existing clients to support business growth.
• Prepare and oversee project deliverables across multiple project components.
• Lead QA/QC reviews in accordance with client requirements and company policies.
• Direct and delegate workloads while mentoring staff.
