McMillen, Inc. seeks a Senior Applied Hydraulics Engineer to lead large water resources projects, including dams, energy, fisheries, and infrastructure. The role emphasizes technical leadership, project management, and client engagement in a multi-disciplinary team.

The incumbent will oversee deliverables, mentor staff, and contribute to strategic initiatives while traveling up to 25% for site work and client meetings. A PE license and advanced degrees are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering is required.
• Master’s degree in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering is required.
• 20 years of hydraulic engineering experience.
• PE license is required.
• Experience with FERC regulations is preferred.
• Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and leadership abilities.

• Lead project team discussions, meetings, and workshops for clients.
• Ensure deliverables and work elements meet quality standards.
