Job summary

McMillen, Inc. seeks a Senior Applied Hydraulics Engineer to lead hydraulic engineering for major water resources projects—dams, energy, fisheries, and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering is required.
• Master’s degree in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering is required.
• 20 years of experience in hydraulic engineering.
• 10 years of project management experience preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience with FERC regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead discussions, meetings, and workshops for project teams and clients.
• Prepare and oversee project deliverables, including reports, letters, technical memoranda, drawings, and specifications across multiple project components.
• Implement and lead QA/QC reviews for projects in accordance with client requirements and company policies.
• Actively manage project and organizational risks associated with deliverables and work products.
• Participate in the development and execution of strategic initiatives.
