Job summary

Progress Residential in Tampa, FL is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to inspect, troubleshoot and repair residential HVAC systems across our single-family homes. You will perform scheduled and emergency maintenance, diagnose issues and ensure safe, reliable operation.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years of general maintenance experience, HVAC certification, EPA certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA Certification required; HVAC certification preferred.
• HVAC experience and ability to service residential equipment.
• Own basic tools and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to work on-call, weekends and evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in single-family homes.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs.
• diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, appliances and related components.
• Ensure safety, compliance with regulations, and cost controls.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and coordinate with contractors as needed.
• Maintain punctuality and professional conduct on all assignments.
