Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in single-family homes. You will perform maintenance, diagnose issues and ensure cost controls while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 5+ years of maintenance experience, EPA certification, and HVAC certification preferred. On-call availability and reliable transportation are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA Certification required; HVAC Certification preferred.
• Technical college or trade program with HVAC certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in Progress Residential single-family homes.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs, including electrical, plumbing and HVAC components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced issues and repair or replace defective equipment.
• Report major repairs prior to expenditure of funds and maintain safety standards.
• Complete service requests promptly and maintain regular attendance.
