Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in our single-family homes. You will contribute to cost controls and deliver an outstanding resident experience.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, emergencies, diagnosing advanced issues, and upholding safety and company policies. The role requires EPA certification and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in general service and maintenance (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall repair).
• EPA Certification and HVAC Certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess situations quickly and determine steps to resolve service requests with excellent customer service.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections and service requests for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and related systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced issues and repair/replace defective equipment or components.
• Ensure safety, report major repairs before expenditures and comply with company policies and regulations.
