Progress Residential, L.P. in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in our single-family rental homes. The role emphasizes delivering excellent customer service and adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnosing complex issues, coordinating with residents and vendors, and maintaining records. EPA certification and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years’ general service and maintenance experience (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall, etc.).
• HVAC Certification via Technical College or Trade Program preferred.
• EPA Certification Required.
• Experience with residential appliances and HVAC systems preferred.
• Own basic tools and reliable transportation; valid driver’s license.
• On-call availability including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in Progress Residential homes.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to service requests.
• Diagnose and repair advanced issues; replace defective equipment or components as needed.
• Ensure safety, follow company policies and comply with regulations.
• Complete service requests promptly and maintain accurate records.
• Interact professionally with residents and vendors.
